Cure Your Cabin Fever

There’s no way around it… this winter has been long and grueling for us Minnesotans, and cabin fever has inevitably set in; especially for those of us who don’t have a warm weather vacation planned. When the weather is dangerously cold, and the snow unbelievable high, it is easy to stay in every weekend and hide from the elements, but where is the fun in that?! Even if you are sticking out the entire winter in Minnesota, there are a ton a of ways to make the best of our chilly situation and to cure your cabin fever.

History Buffs

We have several great options for history lovers in the Greater Mankato area. Check out the Blue Earth County History Center for a hands-on experience in the Discovery Lab, dig for answers in the Research Center, and take in some local art at the Marian Anderson Art Gallery.

If you are looking for a historical adventure in the Twin Cities, there are countless museums to visit. Check out the Mill City Museum to learn about the history of Minneapolis on the Mississippi, the Bell Museum for a crash course in Minnesota’s natural history, or the Science Museum to take in a show at the Omnitheater and discover new things about how our bodies work.
