What are your PT Specialties?

Industrial rehab (FCE, PWS, FJA); special interest include sports rehab, specifically running and power lifting.

What is your favorite thing(s) about being a Physical Therapist?

The opportunity to engage with our awesome patients gets me out of bed in the morning. I enjoy helping them accomplish therapy milestones and answering their questions about my obnoxious socks.

What inspired you to become a Physical Therapist?

My dream of being a linebacker for the Minnesota Vikings became rather unlikely (maybe impossible). So, Plan B / PT allowed me to align my true passion for optimizing quality of life through exercise while positively impacting others.  “Working hard for something that we don’t care about is called stress. Working hard for something that we love is called passion.” – unknown

What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?

I enjoy food… Cooking it. Grilling it. Smoking it. Eating it. And sharing it with family and friends.

What is one thing you wish people knew about Physical Therapy?

We (therapists) also experience back pain.

Give us one fun fact about you!

Pigs are my favorite animal. Dogs are number one!

What are your PT Specialties?

Vestibular, concussion, and cancer rehabilitation.

What is your favorite thing(s) about being a Physical Therapist?

Seeing the happiness people feel when they achieve a goal they never thought they could and helping to give someone back their independence after years of being in pain.

What inspired you to become a Physical Therapist?

Growing up around the motocross community and seeing friends and family return from multiple types of injuries.

What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?

Hosting friends and family at my home and cuddle up on the couch with my dog watching Netflix.

What is one thing you wish people knew about Physical Therapy?

Back pain presentation is individualized. You may respond well to an exercise and someone else may respond poorly to the same exercise. An individualized program is important for decreasing pain.

Give us one fun fact about you!

I love having a garden and canning including salsa, pickles, tomato juice, and green beans.
