Empowering patients to reach their fullest physical potential and return to the activities they love.

What inspired you to become a Physical Therapist?

My mom is a PTA and I grew up hearing stories from her patients about how she was able to get them back to doing things they thought they would never do again.  I wanted to make that difference in peoples’ lives.

What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?

Spending time outdoors/hiking with my husband, 1 year old daughter- Iva, and dog- Jax.

What is one thing you wish people knew about Physical Therapy?

We are experts at diagnosing and treating the musculoskeletal system.  Most insurances don’t require a referral to see us so we should be the first you see for musculoskeletal injuries/impairments.

Give us one fun fact about you!

I love playing mixed doubles tennis with my husband!

What are your PT Specialties?

Blood flow restriction training, Neurodynamics, exercise physiology, and manual therapy.

What is your favorite thing(s) about being a Physical Therapist?

My favorite thing about being a physical therapist is helping people achieve their goals, especially ones that they didn’t think were possible, and celebrating their accomplishments with them. I also enjoy the challenge of complex cases.

What inspired you to become a Physical Therapist?

I have been through physical therapy myself for several injuries in the past and I enjoyed the rehab process and the PTs I was able to work with. I enjoy using exercise, manual techniques, and education to help make a lasting change in peoples’ lives.

What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?

I enjoy travelling or spending time with my family and friends, especially outdoors or at the lake. I like to try doing as many new things as possible!

What is one thing you wish people knew about Physical Therapy?

We can help improve you level of function and decrease pain, even if you have arthritis or “bone-on-bone”! There will always be a time and place for surgery or alternative treatments, but it’s a great idea to try conservative care before more invasive procedures like surgery!

Give us one fun fact about you!

I enjoy doing extreme sports or activities, such as skydiving or going fast. It’s not too often that I’m scared to try something or learn about something new!
