Q: Tell us how you first became interested in the physical therapy field.
A: Physical therapists are able to help people every single day and build relationships with each of their patients in order to truly help them through each step of their plans of care. Helping patients improve and work toward their goals is so rewarding, and I’m grateful to be a part of this process at Optivus.
Q: What makes you excited to leave campus and head to the clinic each day?
A: The thought of watching patients do something they thought they would never be able to do again makes me excited to come to work every day. Physical therapy is a special job because you get to encourage and teach patients how to achieve their goals.
Q: Tell us a little more about you.
A: My faith, family and ice cream are the most important things to me; I have two sisters, a dog and 12 chickens. My favorite memories are sitting around the table after dinner playing board games and eating a bowl of ice cream with my family. Besides my family, I enjoy spending all my time outside, whether its rollerblading with friends, hanging out on the boat all day, or singing at concerts in the summer!
