Levi Peterson - Physical TherapistPT, DPT, ACSM EP*
Throughout his life, Levi has experienced first-hand the impact that physical therapy has on people’s lives. He discovered his passion in the industry as a young athlete when he personally was able to get back to the sports he loved because of physical therapy. “I love how physical therapy utilizes conservative care and exercise to help patients meet their goals. The physical therapists I have worked with before have had an unforgettable impact on my life that I hope to provide to others in the future.”

Levi launched his career while in undergraduate school as a Certified Exercise Physiologist where he had the opportunity to train athletes ranging from elementary school to semi-professional athletes. After completing his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology, he then worked to graduate with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of Mary.

More than anything, I enjoy the opportunity I have as a Physical Therapist to help each patient return to what they love doing. Whether it’s returning to the sport they love or being able to pick up their grandchildren again, helping patients get back to what they’re truly passionate about is what gets me excited to come to the clinic each day.”

Q: What made you interested in working at Optivus Physical Therapy?
A: I chose to work at Optivus because of the passion that everyone in the clinic has for doing what we do. There is a real focus on following the best evidence, treating each patient uniquely to reach their goals, and always making sure that patients have the tools they need to continue improving their health.

Q: What is one thing you’d like every patient to walk away with from their experience at Optivus Physical Therapy?
A: I would like every patient that leaves Optivus to be confident that they were heard, that they received the highest quality of care, and that they have the tools they need to continue to make positive changes to their health and lifestyle.

Q: Tell us a little more about you and your family!
A: I am from Jamestown, ND originally, where I grew up with my parents and younger brother. I enjoy sports (especially track and field and football), playing guitar, working out, spending time with family and friends, disc golf, and spending time outdoors.
