Natasha ChoinierePT, DPT, OCS
Growing up in Waterville, Minnesota, Natasha found her passion for helping others through conservative care early on. Her mother was a Physical Therapist Assistant, and Natasha was able to see first-hand the impact that physical therapy had on patients’ lives. Natasha received her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Minnesota State University in 2010 where she graduated Summa Cum Laude as well as completed her Personal Trainer Certification from the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America. She then completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Minnesota in 2013. While in doctorate school Natasha contributed to research focused on utilizing rTMS as a treatment for focal hand dystonia, and volunteered regularly at the Phillips Neighborhood Clinic treating underinsured and/or unstably housed patients.

After graduating, Natasha joined the Wenger Physical Therapy (now Optivus Physical Therapy) clinic. In 2016, she obtained her Orthopedic Clinical Specialist certification to further enhance her knowledge in physical therapy in order to maximize her patient care.

Natasha enjoys running, biking, hiking, playing volleyball, and playing tennis. Competing on dance teams throughout her youth, she continues to follow her passion for dance by judging Minnesota State High School League dance competitions and has volunteered at Kids Abilities teaching dance and other athletic skills to children with disabilities.
